About Turning Point
Turning Point Psychotherapy and Wellness was created to offer a calm, supportive space where clients of all ages can slow down, feel understood, and begin making sense of what they are carrying. Reaching out for therapy can feel overwhelming, uncertain, or even intimidating, and this practice was built with the intention of making that first step feel safer and more approachable.
At Turning Point, therapy is not about quick fixes or being told what to do. It is a collaborative process grounded in compassion, curiosity, and respect for each person’s lived experience. Sessions are paced with care, allowing space to explore thoughts, emotions, and patterns at a rhythm that feels manageable and supportive.
The name Turning Point reflects the belief that meaningful change often begins in quiet moments of awareness.. when something no longer feels sustainable and support becomes necessary. Therapy can be a place to pause, reflect, and reconnect with yourself, whether you are navigating anxiety, stress, emotional overwhelm, grief, relationship challenges, trauma, or a period of transition.
This practice offers individual therapy for children, teens, and adults, and supports a wide range of concerns including emotional regulation, self-esteem, life stress, identity exploration, and healing from past experiences. Care is trauma-informed and guided by an understanding of how experiences shape the nervous system, emotions, and relationships over time.
You do not need to have everything figured out before beginning. Therapy can start with questions, uncertainty, or simply a feeling that something needs care. Turning Point exists to offer support during those moments, and to walk alongside you as clarity, resilience, and understanding begin to take shape.
